Simon Heyes
Simon worked in Latin America for 2 years, falling in love with the region, its people, landscapes and languages. He worked as a guide in the Venezuela Andes and Chilean Lake District, taught English, and travelled in Argentina, Peru, Bolivia and Ecuador.

On his return to the UK in 1995 he worked for 9 years for leading UK tour operators creating tailormade itineraries, leading tours, photographing and reviewing new areas and product. He travelled extensively in Chile, Argentina, Peru, Brazil, Ecuador and the Galapagos, Venezuela, Guyana, Colombia, Costa Rica and Belize.

In 2004 Simon started Senderos with the concept of providing his very favourite places - small and special hotels, boats, and lodges around Latin America - with a cost effective marketing presence to UK tour operators.
