The 142 foot Origin www.origingalapagos.com features 10 deluxe staterooms, all on the main deck with panoramic windows for ocean views. Expansive indoor and outdoor social and observation areas allow for easy and comfortable viewing of the islands’ unique scenery and topography. On board highlights include locally inspired gourmet menus, an open bar policy, sun deck with Jacuzzi, wet bar, day beds and a fitness centre. Modern sophistication with understated luxury await guets, with a crew of 13 including the captain, two naturalist guides and a concierge. The ORIGIN is ideal for family travel, offering connecting cabins and triple accommodation.
ORIGIN also features indoor and al-fresco dining, BBQ, spacious social areas, satellite TV, a masseuse (additional charge), multiple kayaks, stand up paddle boards, wet suits and snorkelling equipment, cabins cleaned twice daily, wifi and a laundry service.
Refurbished annually, the idential Eric and Letty feature 10 outside-facing, comfortable and spacious cabins (2 can be converted into triples) over 3 decks, with teak interiors. The 2 expert guides for a maximum of 20 guests ensure a very personalised experience, and the crew offers very high levels of service. The varied menus are gourmet-style and produce is locally sourced. Adventure gear is provided (at no charge) and includes kayaks, wet suits, masks, fins, snorkels and beach towels. Ecoventura offer regular and very popular family departures on Eric and Letty during school holidays, with age-appropriate activities and discounted fares for children and teenagers aged 7-17.
Ecoventura maintains the highest environmental and social sustainability standards, including SmartVoyager certification since 2000 and establishing the Galapagos Marine Biodiversity Fund in partnership with WWF.

Ecoventura is delighted to announce that renowned marine biologist Jack Grove will be hosting exclusive departures on the MV Origin in 2018. Jack is an expedition leader, photographer, author and all round expert on the Galapagos Islands. He will escort guests on all land and sea excursions, and give evening lectures on board.
