In Conversation with Alberto del Castillo, Estancia Cristina, Argentine Patagonia

In a small wooden boat, carved by hand long ago and gently rocked by Patagonian winds on the shores of Lago Argentino…I sat down with my friend Alberto del Castillo – climber, adventurer and hotelier – to talk about this wild place al sur de Argentina and his deep personal relationship with it. 

Snow capped peaks, lakes and valleys, the glaciers of the great southern ice field for the lucky few. Alberto is managing director of Estancia Cristina an extraordinary, very beautiful small hotel with just 20 rooms set within the vast Los Glaciares National Park.
